POSITION SUMMARY

We're seeking a highly analytical Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team at Hudu. In this role, you'll drive our marketing strategies to attract and engage MSPs and IT professionals, leveraging data-driven insights to fuel growth in the SaaS space. You'll lead initiatives across social media, content, and community building, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to uncover customer motivations and refine our messaging. This position offers the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing marketing team, hiring and mentoring talent similar to our top performers (like Natalie, our current marketing lead).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, with a strong focus on social media campaigns across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Reddit to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Build and manage online communities, including our Community, Reddit/Discord subgroups, user groups, and forums, to foster discussions, gather feedback, and nurture leads.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics using tools like HubSpot to optimize campaigns, track ROI, and identify trends in customer behavior.
  • Create visually appealing content and designs for digital assets, ensuring a consistent brand aesthetic that resonates with our MSP audience.
  • Conduct in-depth research to understand customer pain points, motivations for purchasing IT documentation solutions, and market opportunities in the SaaS and MSP sectors.
  • Lead and mentor a growing marketing team, including hiring additional talent with strong analytical skills and creative flair.
  • Collaborate with sales, support, product, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with business goals and product launches.
  • Monitor industry trends in MSP and SaaS marketing to innovate strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications a plus.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in a SaaS environment, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked directly with MSPs or in IT services.
  • Proven expertise with HubSpot for CRM, automation, analytics, and campaign management.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and measure campaign success.
  • A keen eye for design, including experience creating or overseeing visual content for digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing social media strategies, including growing communities on platforms like Reddit and user groups.
  • A natural talent for uncovering the "why" behind customer buying decisions, through market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis.
  • Strong personal social media presence with high-quality, professional content—candidates will be evaluated based on their activity and engagement on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Reddit.
