The Role

As Moxion's founding Manager of Change Management and PLM Adminstration, you'll have the project management skills to track product initiatives from start to finish, cultivate relationships, coordinate and facilitate ambiguity in discussions across multiple organizations.

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate interaction between engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure product conversations take place and are documented and communicated
  • Monitor change requests and orders, audits product data and documentation for accuracy, documents impacts and coordinates any required updates for processing
  • Drive the CCB meetings and facilitates and tracks change request discussions, decisions, and next steps to ensure timely completion to prevent change delays
  • Monitor change orders from initiation through to publish of release package and sending the release notice communication to ensure accurate implementation and on-time effectivity of changes released
  • Be responsible for part, BOM, documentation and process management and record control throughout the product life-cycle
  • Assure adherence to data and document structure guidelines, definitions and best practices in place are applied at audits to validate change deliverables during all phases of product development and new product introduction-- Identify and implement changes to standards and processes and ensures proper training and communication on the changes is provided in a timely manner
  • Subject matter expert that drives all applicable SOP’s to support operational efficiencies and proper, accurate and up-to-date product data practices, record control and retention policies
  • Perform training and builds content for new features and process changes within the PLM system used to manage the product data and documentation through the lifecycle

Skills to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or relevant experience in related field
  • Minimum of six (6) years experience in a manufacturing industry performing product lifecycle/configuration management, or engineering change management/control
  • Extensive experience managing PLM systems and working knowledge and understanding of Engineering Design, ERP, and MES system integrations with PLM
  • Experience in using Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) for ticket tracking, SOP documentation and writing simple SQL statements and queries for filters and reports
  • Must have strong skills/experience in new product development,  new product introduction and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident to interface and communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Must exhibit excellent team skills, both as a leader and participant and cultivator of effective, strong relationships 
  • Excellent organizational, meeting, and multi tasking skills as well as exhibits strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be knowledgeable in defining business system documentation requirements and assisting IT in selection and evaluation of candidate tools
