Job Description
-Participate in carrying out local statutory reporting framework and preparing statutory filing;
-Participate in carrying out investment management policy;
-Participate in calculation of regular P&C premium reserves and outstanding claims reserve;
-Assist in developing and maintaining business plan model and preparing management report;
-Other tasks as assigned by management, e.g., HKFRS 17, HKRBC implementation.
Requirement
-Degree holder in Actuarial/Risk management/Finance/Business/Statistics/Mathematics or other quantitative disciplines;
-3 year - 5 years of actuarial/risk management experience in life/ general insurance companies or consulting firms;
-Relevant professional designations (e.g., FSA, ASA, FCAS, ACAS, CFA, FRM, etc.)
-Good understanding of life/general insurance reserving and experience in solvency and financial reporting;
-Knowledge in insurance HKFRS 17/HKRBC/ICS is a plus;
-Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) is a must;
-Good team player with can-do attitude and multi-tasking;
-Candidates with less experience will be considered as an Associate level
