The Role

Maintenance Planner As The Maintenance Planner you will be responsible to support the Maintenance Manager and the rest of the team with the administrative part such as the scheduler of the Preventive Maintenance, buyer and assistant in the purchase of consumables.

What You'll Do:

  • Operation of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Software (Limble).
  • Scheduling the Preventive Maintenance program.
  • Supporting the Maintenance Manager to keep the KPI board updated.
  • Restock the Spares parts inventory. 
  • Do the Cycle Counts for the spare parts inventory.
  • Determining the most used items in the spare parts stock and determine how to prolong the life spawn or search for better options
  • Trigger the RFQ process with the vendors and follow up until the release of the PO.
  • Train new team members in the Maintenance Crew on how to use the CMMS.
  • Support on Follow up and maintain the RCCA forms and logs.
  • Coordinate work and work closely with planning and production on needed line downtime and prioritization of activities.
  • Set up all the new equipment on the CMMS.
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure all the assets are being tracked by the CMMS.

Skills to be Successful:

  • CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) knowledge
  • Two or more years of industrial maintenance exposure experience is preferred.
  • Preventive Maintenance understanding and knowledge as a program.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work overtime during the regular week & weekend overtime.
  • Good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Officeand or Google Suite is a must.
  • Data analysis and risk-based decision-making skills.
  • Spare parts management and execution of Cycle Counts
  • Previous experience working with vendors to determine the failure or premature wearout of the spares.

Bonus points for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Technical.
  • CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Knowledge (Limble)
  • Experience reading, writing, and interpreting mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and work instructions. Ability to break down large scopes into technical documentation, and processes is desired.
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience with ERP/MRP Systems.
  • Perform corrective maintenance and /or repairs on the following systems:
  • Electrical installs from 24 VDC to 480VAC Single phase & 3 Phase; 
  • Mechanical systems
  • Hydraulics systems
  • Pneumatics systems
  • PLC and Networks (Allen Bradly)
  • Vision inspection equipment (Cognex & Keyence)
  • Adhesive dispenser equipment (Dymax)
  • UV Cure Systems (Dymax)
  • Fanuc robots (Six axis & Scara) 
  • Lockout and Tagout the equipment when a PM or repair is going on.

Shift and Compensation Details

  • Shift: start time: around 12pm (8-10 hr shifts)
  • Comp Range: 85-91K, Max range is reserved for candidates who meet or exceed all requirements.

Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements.  We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience.  Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change. 

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
