A Fortune 500 global MNC is seeking an experienced technology lawyer to support a critical, high-profile digital transformation project, which is expected to last for at least 9-12+ months.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned technology lawyer to gain valuable in-house experience while leading and project managing the legal workstream. In addition to leading the day-to-day legal aspects of the project, you will also be responsible for providing support and advice to executives and key stakeholders across the company with regard to this multi-country initiative.
The successful candidate will have:
5+ years’ PQE.
Experience gained at a top-tier global law firm or leading local law firm.
Good knowledge and understanding of commercial and technology-related matters, especially with regards to IT, e-commerce, data privacy, outsourcing and digital transformation.
Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating multi-country technology and commercial transactions, including for IT and Business Process Outsourcing, cloud services, managed services and other technology matters.
Professional admission in at least one of the following jurisdictions: England & Wales, USA, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand or Canada.
Additional attributes desired include:
Prior in-house or secondment experience with an MNC or global bank.
Experience advising on technology outsourcing transactions in the financial services sector.
Experience project-managing or leading high value cross-functional projects.
Personal authority with proven ability to establish relationships and provide strong direction at senior levels.
Excellent technical skills with a practical approach to problem-solving.
Ability to handle pressure and work to challenging deadlines.
