Lead Software Engineer

We need an engineering lead to help us build out our app - both desktop and mobile - beyond the minimum viable product (MVP) level it is currently at to ensure that it is scalable with the growth potential of our business. We have an MVP already up, but it is still very early stages, so the person joining this role would effectively be a member of the founding team. What we need from you is to be a top-tier engineer with a mind that can think not just in terms of the broad questions surrounding software architecture, but are also willing to roll up your sleeves and do the coding yourself.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Design and implement scalable and robust applications.
• Design, shape and implement authentication, authorization, auditing, reporting, and API infrastructure solutions.

Minimum qualifications:

• Experience in leading engineering teams, ideally at startups
• Experience in Typescript, Node.js, MySQL, React, Docker, AWS

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in building fintech or cloud (SaaS) applications.
• Experience in NestJS, ECS, Go, MongoDB, Vercel, Github Actions, Terraform, React Native
