OMNA Pte Ltd is a Multichannel eCommerce Management platform that enables retailers to sync products, inventory, and manage orders with Lazada, Shopee, Amazon, Shopify, and more. For our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to build our next-generation platform. He/She will also work alongside the company's founders to develop the platform roadmap.
The Lead Software Engineer will have a proven track record in being able to lead a small team cross-functional software development team (consisting of developers, designers, and testers) while being equally capable of writing codes/code reviews (especially during the initial stages as we build out a team).
Responsibilities:
- Develop the initial prototype for the application (front-end/back-end architecture)
- Managing development cycles using SCRUM / AGILE methodology
- Develop product roadmap together with stakeholders
- Hiring and training new technical hires
- Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team
- Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to the standard
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Experience the following tech stack would be advantageous: ReactJS (Front-end), PostgreSQL (Database), Python, AWS services (Lambda, RDS, Elastic Cache, S3, CloudFront, Cognito, SES, Route 53, Cloudformation, Step Functions, API Gateway)
