ABOUT THE JOB We are enthusiastic to bring on an iOS Lead (Engineering) to join our growing team. In this role, you will help us build out the key features of our iOS application and build out our mobile iOS team over the next 12-18 months. The first set of features in the application is designed to help retail store employees locate products and manage inventory, with future SDKs and app features tied to analytics and beyond. We care deeply about our customer experience and you should too. You will work closely with our product management team to transform our existing application into a production-quality application delivered to customers. Your ability to write great reusable components will be essential as we build other iOS applications on our roadmap and a team to produce these applications. Responsibilities: • Work with leadership to build a highly effective mobile applications team capable of producing quality products. • Work with customer success, product management, solutions architecture, and others to develop requirements for deliverable mobile applications as well as a customer-facing SDK to augment retail processes. • Create overall concepts for the user experience mobile iOS products, ensuring all interactions are intuitive and easy for customers. • Develop an understanding of our current user experience design and reference application. • Work with the engineering team to define API requirements. • Evaluate and select frameworks, libraries, and tools for the company’s mobile stack. • Communicate with the team via project management tools and product engineering meetings. • Define a continuous integration process to prevent regression of quality. • Deploy mobile applications for customer teams responsible for billions of dollars in revenue. • Travel on occasion to testing sites to help debug and respond to usability feedback. Requirements: • You have 5+ years’ experience leading a Software team • You have 6+ years of professional iOS experience • You have 6+ years of professional Swift experience Skills: • iOS application deployment, App Store or Enterprise • Great UX & design instincts • Excellent communication skills • Excellent team building skills (managing 5-7 team members) • Project planning skills WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN TEAMMATES Technology like what we’re building doesn’t happen on its own.
