Position Summary
Position is responsible for the company’s full life cycle of recruiting, including, but not limited to partnering with departmental managers to define roles, preparing job postings, reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and preparing job offers. Onboards new hires. Periodically advises management team on Human Resource related topics in the day to day business operations.
Essential Duties
• Design and implement overall recruiting strategy for a variety of employment levels within the organization.
• Attracts candidates using a variety of sources including social media sites, recruitment sites, and various
networks.
• Prepares and updates job specifications and job descriptions.
• Designs recruitment materials and posts position openings on appropriate job boards to attract the best candidates for roles.
• Screens candidates by extracting relevant information matching candidates’ background and experiences to position specifications.
• Leads interview process and challenges management team to fully engage with candidate review.
• Ensures management team is educated on legal aspects of the interviewing process.
• Advises management on various HR topics throughout the normal business cycle.
• Performs related duties as required.

• Ability to represent the company image and sell the opportunity of joining Pirouette Medical.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees both verbally and in wiring.
• Demonstrated success as a recruiter either for a company or through an agency.
• Ability to build a talent pipeline by engaging with passive candidates.
• Knowledge of the medical device and /or pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to relentlessly pursue candidates who fit Pirouette Medical’s cultural profile.
• Ability to acquire generalist HR knowledge in employment matters as situations arise.
• A willingness and ability to wear multiple hats, operate independently, and as part of a team in a small organization setting where a self-starter personality is key.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related area and five years recruitment experience, preferably with a medical device or pharmaceutical firm. Exposure to generalist duties, including, but not limited to employment law, salary surveys, benefits administration, and employee development.
Location
Position can be remote with occasional trips to Portsmouth, New Hampshire business site.
