We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile HR Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist at Instawork, you will play a crucial role in onboarding new employees, employee relations, employee engagement, grievance handling and benefits administration.

What You'll Do:


  • Collect the documents from the new hires for smooth onboarding, coordinate with the IT and payroll teams
  • Set up new hires in HRIS and other tools

Culture and Team Building:

  • Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive company culture.
  • Organize team-building activities and events to enhance employee morale and camaraderie.
  • Plan quarterly offsites for sales function

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing concerns and providing guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Handle employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Update the employee information on HRIS from time to time
  • Off board exited employees from HRIS and other tools
  • Conduct ex-employee background checks

Talent Acquisitions:

  •  Skillfully coordinate and schedule interviews for numerous candidates, demonstrating superior organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Collect and verify documents from the shortlisted candidates
  • Share offer letter to the selected candidates

Who you are:

  • 3 to 6 years to experience in HR generalist role
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • The ability to coordinate, prioritize, and collaborate across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
  • Demonstrates a strong proficiency in fostering collaborative team dynamics involving multiple stakeholders. 
  • Upholds critical thinking, resourcefulness, and adaptability.
