About the Job: PROVEN is seeking a passionate and innovative leader of people and culture to develop and implement strategies, programs, processes, and policies to support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company and engage and develop our employees. The ideal candidate will lead all aspects of the function including Talent Acquisition and Management, Employee Experience and Culture, Total Rewards, Learning and Development, Compliance, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. You will serve as a trusted partner to the executive and leadership team, providing guidance and expertise on all People matters. The ideal candidate is someone who has the passion to be part of a game-changing company and sees this position as a chance to succeed and grow into a larger role as the company continues to expand.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective People strategy aligned to the organization’s current needs and growth objectives
- Create talent management strategies to encompass workforce planning, hiring practices, performance management, training and professional development programs, and succession planning
- Driving recruitment of the best talent, coaching them on team leadership, helping to resolve employee relations issues, and managing problems that help develop staff
- Act as a genuine culture champion, and support all employees
- Own the employee experience, creating and refining strategic programs to drive engagement and enhance our culture
- Take the lead on employee relations, crisis management, internal communication, policy and compliance, and leadership alignment
- Coach and mentor fellow colleagues/managers and develop leadership bench strength capable of addressing the challenges of a highly dynamic organization
- Mediate employee relations and performance issues and provide counsel to fellow managers on appropriate methods of performance management
Who You Are:
- A minimum of 5 years of HR experience; previous experience in early-stage high growth business a plus
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and independent but collaborative work style
- Strong organizational, time-management, project management, and creative skills—with an ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills - feel comfortable to challenge conventional approaches and have a willingness to build a unique approach
- Knowledge of compliance standards and employment law, employee Benefit Administration and Payroll
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
