About Factored Quality:

Factored Quality is building one of the last missing pieces of modern commerce infrastructure: a platform for consumer brands to manage their quality control inspections.

Factored Quality was started by a team of software engineers, data scientists, and supply chain managers - all focused on one goal: enable entrepreneurs to bring their products to market faster, simpler, and cheaper. We worry about managing brands’ quality control so they don't have to. We aim to redefine how quality control is managed, and need strong engineers to make it happen.

At FQ, you’ll support every aspect of the core business operations, developing a holistic understanding of our customers and product. We're looking for people who are passionate about creating the future of commerce enablement and building the tools needed to help people quit their day jobs to start new e-commerce businesses.

Our team is composed of 15 folks across our US, European, and Hong Kong offices serving over 100+ of the world’s top brands like Dr. Squatch, Lalo, and Canopy Humidifiers. We've raised more than $5.6 Million to date from an incredible team of investors and operators like Amity Ventures, Dynamo Ventures, and Y-Combinator.

What We’re Looking For:

Factored Quality is searching for a Director/Head of Sales to join the team. Our ideal candidate is someone who has/can:

  • Experience establishing and deliver on a strategy to land new logos, expand existing accounts, set up customer success and drive predictable year over year ARR growth for FQ
  • 6+ years of experience within revenue teams (sales, marketing, etc)
  • Experience with B2B marketing, demand generation/top of funnel
  • Continue to drive top of funnel demand generation (both inbound and outbound) built on-top of our existing infrastructure, and establish new top of funnel strategies if needed
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting, is comfortable with stringing together marketing/sales infrastructure tools
  • Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
  • Recruit and develop a top tier, diverse, efficient direct revenue organization (SDR’s, AE’s, CSM’s)
  • Worked on complex GTM motions (either deployment based models, pilot based models, etc)
  • Sold to e-commerce and retail consumer goods brands and retailers (not mandatory, but nice to have)
  • Has a flexible can-do attitude and is willing and able to thrive in chaos
  • Has the courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it
  • Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels

The Role:

We’re looking to bring on a Director of Sales to help Factored Quality navigate its next stage of growth.

Core categories of responsibilities for this role will be to serve as point for:

  • Demonstrated progressive second line leadership experience leading teams in strategic sales
  • Multiple repeatable proof points of recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining leaders and individual contributors that make-up a high performing enterprise sales organization
  • Deep experience selling into accounts in core markets.
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in consistent overachievement of a $5m+ ACV annual quota
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in software sales, preferably with development tool and/or open source experience
  • Proven track record of working closely with the channel for growth leverage.
  • Proven success partnering with Marketing, Channel, Alliances, Product, and Engineering peers
  • Demonstration of high levels of integrity, initiative, honesty and leadership
  • Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well on their own or as a member of a team
  • Polished presentation skills
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and ambitious workload

Working Hours:

Because our team is global, there are meetings that are scheduled outside of traditional 9-5 working hours. That being said, we trust all team members to manage their schedules and to take appropriate measures to take care of themselves and their wellbeing. Overlapping 5 hours with EST business hours is a non- negotiable.
