Hatch is in the phase where the CEO is looking for a Head of Product to gradually take over all of our core product organization. A former YC founder who built product at this phase ($10m - $25m in revenue) and understands how to take those learnings and remove biases (what you did is helpful, but its not the ONLY way) but is an infinite learner who is customer obsessed - would be an amazing fit for this role.

What you will do:

  • Customer Insights - customer obsession is KEY to building a great product. The CEO has lead this, but its time to scale this culture. You will LIVE a customer obsession mentality, and help put KPIs in place to measure how Hatch is best in class in this as we scale.
  • Product Processes - business operations are key to designing, rolling out, iterating and scaling efficient teams. You will put KPIs in place to roll out and measure product processes.
  • Leadership - managing up, down and sideways is critical to scaling a product organization. You will set up KPIs to give visibility to all levels of employees so everyone is empowered with information they need to move as fast as they can. This includes both people management and process management.
  • Product Strategy - What we build and how we take it to market will be driven by a combination of customer insights and product data. You will set up and manage KPIs in both areas that will drive our product strategy.

What you will bring:

  • Proven leader with at least 10 years of management experience and 5 years of product management OR deep customer related experience
  • Experience founding or leading a startup highly desirable
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; comfortable managing with ambiguity Expertise in MarTech is a plus with knowledge of call center software, messaging platforms, SMS and the ever changing landscape of our customers needs in this space.
  • Intellectual curiosity, startup agility, and grit; flies both high and low with the ability to shift contexts, execute across all levels of the business, and lead by example
  • Outstanding analytical capabilities (quantitative and qualitative); ability to generate key insights and recommendations on critical messaging and AI topics
  • Excellence in structured thinking, developing sensible, creative solutions to challenging strategic business problems, as well as creativity and “out of the box” thinking that drives innovation.
  • Ability to communicate strategy simply; ease with executive-level interactions; ability to create clear storylines that resonate with customers
  • Highly collaborative and a team player
  • Undergraduate degree required with technical concentration preferred; advanced degree or MBA desirable
