What we're looking for

Enode is growing quickly, with customers ranging from early-stage startups to some of the largest energy companies in the world. We want everyone excited about building green energy apps to hear about our API and understand the value we deliver. We are therefore looking for a Head of Marketing that can build and execute on a marketing strategy that will supercharge our growth.

In this role you will be leading everything related to marketing at Enode, from social media to performance marketing, PR and conferences ++. You need to figure out what works and how we can scale that to capture more relevant leads and build a brand recognized for energy expertise.

You will work closely with our CRO (Thorvald) and the rest of the go-to-market team to showcase how we at Enode can provide value to our customers and their end-users. As the first person on the Marketing team you will also build out playbooks and lay out the strategy for how we do marketing at Enode. You should also work cross-functionally with our product and tech teams to draw on their experience when building marketing materials.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute on our long term Marketing strategy with OKRs aligned with our company goals
  • Test and evaluate all relevant marketing channels, from organic to paid and everything in between
  • Build out marketing materials in text, video, webinars etc. We are also looking for a Content Manager, but experience with building out content yourself is always an advantage
  • Run all social media accounts, PR outreach, external communication and attend relevant seminars / conferences
  • Build our Marketing playbook so we easily can scale the Marketing team
  • Overall objective is increasing the number of inbound leads and build Enode as brand to be reckoned with in the renewable energy space for customers, job candidates and investors

About you

To succeed at Enode you should be mission driven and have an urge to fight climate change. Further you should be excited about the electrification of transport and the opportunity to use energy hardware to solve grid challenges in the transition to a renewable energy system.

To succeed as Head of Marketing your should be an experienced marketer with a broad tool-box. Being data-driven, scrappy and moving fast is something that comes naturally to you. You are eager to experiment and be creative when it comes to new marketing channels, but also systematic in your approach to scaling what works and cutting what doesn’t.

As with many startups, you should be ready to get your hands dirty and not expect someone else to fix menial tasks for you. You should be excited about being part of a fast growing startup where roles and responsibilities can change fast as we scale. There is no limit to how far you can go and how fast you can grow at Enode.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience (B2B Saas startups, agencies, API-first companies etc)
  • Experience with (or high interest for) renewable energy, electric vehicles, smart energy hardware and/or demand response
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written (English)
  • Organized and independent
  • Motivation to pull up your sleeves and be part of early stage company building
  • Proven record of building and executing marketing campaigns that have a huge impact
  • Understanding of APIs, B2B saas marketing, energy apps and energy companies is a bonus
