The Opportunity

Cash flow is the toughest financial statement to understand but it’s fundamental to funding your own growth. Our platform analyzes billions of dollars of B2B transactions each year, users spend 70% of their workday in Tesorio, and we save finance teams thousands of hours. As a result, they can invest more confidently and anticipate their capital needs further in advance. 

Our Accounts Receivable Automation platform is a leader in the market. We were named to the Top 50 Accounting & Finance Tools by G2 for 2022 and we were selected for the Intelligent Applications Top 40 by leading VCs and Goldman Sachs. To accelerate our growth trajectory, we're now seeking an experienced Head of Infrastructure and Platform to join the team. You will be working closely with our CTO and engineering team to manage and scale our infrastructure as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision for infrastructure at Tesorio and execute on that vision
• Own the technical roadmap (i.e. infrastructure upgrades, new major technology adoption, scaling integrations systems, etc.)
• Clearly define scope, objectives, key results and develop a clear, detailed plan for the execution of technical projects that are tightly aligned with business objectives
• Manage the Platform Team (DevOps, infrastructure) as well as the Integrations Team (responsible for connecting to our customers’ systems to ingest their data into Tesorio)
• Lead your teams through highly technical problems to achieve our overall strategic, operational, and financial goals
• Support the company's strategic direction, development, future growth, culture, mission, and values
• Champion overall engineering and operational excellence; establish metrics and processes for regular assessment, feedback and improvement
• Partner with product and engineering leaders to ensure that objectives and requirements are clearly articulated and integrated onto the roadmap
• Ensure that our infrastructure is reliably scaling to meet our customer needs
• Meet our infrastructure SLAs & uptimes

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in software development
• 5+ years managing an engineering team of at least (5) individual contributors
• 5+ years in a strategic role scaling a growing engineering team and infrastructure
• Advanced English proficiency is required for this role
• Proficient in AWS
• Strong understanding and previous experience with SOC 2 Compliance
• Previous B2B enterprise SaaS experience and working with modern tech stacks
• Effectively communicate, influence and work with internal stakeholders
• Previous experience managing multiple teams with different roadmaps
• Prefer someone with a DevOps background and familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform
• Strong experience with scaling systems
• Startup experience is strongly preferred
