About the role
As the content lead at Portal you’ll work closely with the founding team and be responsible for all content initiatives. This includes blog posts, case studies, recruiting content, and more. As part of an early team you’ll also experience what it’s like to be part of a fast-growing startup.
What you'll do

You’ll craft and execute our content strategy. You’ll devise a strategy that will help us build our brand, engage new and existing customers, and drive revenue.

You’ll formalize the tone of voice for our content and brand. You’ll create guidelines that the whole company can follow and implement.

You’ll own the distribution and promotion strategy for all content. You’ll ensure that content we create is used in the most effective way possible across multiple surfaces.

You’ll help establish our recruiting brand. You’ll partner with our engineering and product team members to create high quality technical content.

You'll help create customer case studies. You'll work with our top customers and help tell the story of how Portal supercharged their businesses.

You'll write blog posts. You'll write high-quality engaging content for our audience that spans tutorials, research reports, and more.

You’ll have an opportunity to build and lead a team. After an initial focus on execution, you’ll have an opportunity to build the team that supports our blog, case studies, social channels, and content distribution.
