THE ROLE
Seedly is looking for an experienced sales professional to manage and grow the provider relationships with some of the largest financial institutions in Singapore. As the Head of Commercial, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of Digital Advisory and Insights within the financial services sector. Working directly with the Co-Founder, CEO of Seedly (Country Manager), you will lead the business development team in the country. YOUR TASK
• Pitch, sell, negotiate and renegotiate commercial deals with FIs in Singapore by understanding their business needs and objectives
• Develop and execute against providers account plans, meet and exceed your targets
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with the decision-makers in marketing
and sales
• Recruit, manage, and lead Account Managers in Singapore.
• Conduct training in sales, negotiation, and account management
• Measure and manage business development progress and build a performance-driven sales culture
• Monitor the activity of competitors and utilize learnings
Ensure the regulatory environment is understood and complied with
• Articulate compelling value propositions around Seedly and Hyphen Group services
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• 5-8 years work experience in a B2B sales/sales management role / Advisory consulting role
• Deep knowledge of the Singapore market – banking/finance, insurance, fintech, telco & digital
• Proven record of negotiating and securing deals
• Experience in selling complex, tailored solutions at or to financial institutions
• Target orientated individual with demonstrable sales experience dealing with B2B providers having demonstrated decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to professionally interact with providers, with verbal and written communication, analytical written and presentation skills.
• Ability to characterize the value of products/some technical knowledge
• Positive and energetic leader with expertise in managing a sales team
Preferred Qualifications
• BA or BSc degree in finance, computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or related field
• Experience in driving the adoption of new technologies and solutions preferred.
• Last role: Head of Sales/Business Development in Financial Services or Media Sales
