We are looking for an experienced Head Chef/Restaurant General Manager to help us build and organize our cloud kitchens operations/processes. Our ideal candidate is an experienced data-driven person who possesses an attention to detail mind set and has experience in managing and running multi cuisine restaurants.
The Head Chef will be responsible for directing the daily operations of the kitchens, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including product preparation and process implementation, overlook equipment sourcing, inventory quality check, team management, recruiting, hiring, termination and retention of team members, kitchen financials, and ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer.
Responsibilities:
- Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
- Controls profit & loss, by implementing stock handling SOP’s, security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, and taking appropriate actions.
- Ensures that the Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health, and safety codes, as well as the company safety and security policies are being adhered to
- Ensures food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Report performance of all kitchens KPIs and other performance metrics
- Staying up to date with the latest kitchen equipment’s and kitchen processes
- Managing and working closely with other Chefs of all levels
- Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
- Build kitchen/VR processes and implement and track them
- Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices, and tactics
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 year of experience in restaurant general manager or similar roles is a MUST
- Minimum 2 year degree in food related discipline is a MUST
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for cross-functional Liaoning
- Problem-solving mindset
- Enjoys working with cross-functional teams
- Proven working experience as a chef and knows the kitchen equipment’s
- Proven ability to develop kitchen SOP’s and processes for manufacturing and handling of food
- Excellent understanding of the full restaurant management techniques
