About the Role

The Growth Marketing Lead is central to Tydo's success by identifying and moving prospects and customers down the funnel. You will be in charge of launching, tracking, and optimizing programs, launches, and campaigns across multiple channels. In this role, you will own all distribution channels, Tydo's website and landing page experience, our tech stack and analytics, and paid media. You will also have a direct impact and responsibility in reaching Tydo's growth goals. Analytical in nature, this person should have an understanding of the impact that both organic and paid channels can have on growth.

  • Build a Product - Growth is critical to Tydo's overall company goals. Your work as a growth marketer will create the bedrock of our customer base that informs the future of Tydo's product. You will work with a cross-functional team to help build an optimized, revenue-producing product in addition to the marketing of it.
  • Inside View Of Leading Companies - This role is an interesting way to get an inside view of strategies from leading DTC companies. You will get to learn from the leaders, understand trends across the industry, and become a knowledge expert in growing industries like DTC, e-commerce, analytics, performance marketing, and machine learning.
  • Tydo Network The role will contribute to the Tydo community of tech partners and DTC brands, likely interfacing with some of the coolest founders and operators.

Who you’ll be working with

You’ll work directly with the Director of Marketing and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Content Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, Sales, Design, and more!

Responsibilities

  • Evergreen + Campaign Management: Design, implement and analyze always-on and one-off campaigns to attract, educate, and convert future customers across all stages of their journey. Determine key channels of distribution and work with the appropriate team members to execute and hit growth targets.
  • Channel Ownership: Own the following channels: Website + Landing Pages, Email, SEO, Paid Performance Advertising, Sponsored Newsletters, B2B Influencers, Podcast Advertising, Marketing Analytics and new channel discovery.
  • Website + App Store: Set up proper tracking, optimize landing pages and app store listing, follow SEO best practices, and run a/b tests to improve our website and app store listing's conversion rate.
  • Marketing Analytics: Define KPIs and create full-funnel data analysis with the help of a data analyst to help us measure, optimize, and scale our marketing efforts. Report on performance to the Director of Marketing.
  • Marketing Ops: Own the Tydo marketing tech stack, add tools and make improvements as needed.
  • Email + Lifecycle: Manage our email agency to communicate with prospects and customers at every stage of the funnel. Work with the Product and Content teams to effectively launch one-off campaigns and set up strategic lifecycle flows. Create strategic audience segments and make sure customer/product touch points are properly connected through to customer.io.
  • Paid: Build out our paid strategy and select contractors or agencies if needed to help execute SEM, Shopify App Store and social ads.
  • SEO & Content Distribution: Partner with Product Marketing and Content Marketing to ensure all content and webinars drive engagement, distribute content across email, social, and continue to grow inbound via SEO content.
  • Product-Led Growth: Partner with Customer Success, Sales and Product to understand our customers, improve their experience and implement product updates that can help increase Lead to Free Customer acquisition and Free Customer to Paid Customer acquisition.
  • Growth Marketing Team: Once the growth marketing function is proven, you will have the opportunity to build your own team.

About You

  • You have 3-7 years of growth marketing experience, ideally working with at least one early-stage startup.
  • SaaS experience is highly preferred. Passion for DTC/e-comm analytics is a must, even if you don't have direct experience there.
  • Experience with growth hacking strategies for user activation and growth across multiple channels.
  • Finding product-led growth opportunities excites you and your are familiar with product-led growth models.
  • Experience managing and working with agencies and creative roles to execute campaigns based on your vision.
  • You’re a strong analytical thinker with the ability to monitor, analyze and measure experiment results. You have familiarity with analytical and database tools. A plus if you know customer.io, google analytics and segment.
  • You have strong project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a sense of ownership over your work.
  • You have the ability to get up to speed on a new topic very quickly and you have a deep curiosity and drive to master new subject areas in order to improve growth.
  • You have a profoundly collaborative mindset and approach to work. You recognize that, especially as we continue to define our team structure, roles are somewhat fluid. You are willing to contribute outside of your direct job description and become an expert in new areas.
  • A true self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing your own priorities and adapting where challenges and opportunities are commonplace. You are enthusiastic about remote work.
