Dots is looking for a motivated Growth Lead to join our early stage team. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to understand potential customers needs and explore potential traction channels with us!

About Dots

Dots is a developer-friendly API that lets businesses pay their contractors through just a few lines of code. Whether its gig workers like Uber drivers, sellers on marketplaces like Etsy, or simply just your local handyman - Dots’ abstracts away the complexity of payouts completely. We manage the entire process: information collection (KYC), payments through any rail (ACH, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, international, and many more to come), and even filing tax forms! Dots lets developers get payouts up and running over just a few hours, rather than the many months this would normally take.

We believe the next generation of workers are already here, and are contractors in various shapes and sizes. We’re dedicated to providing a simple-to-use API that makes money movement as flexible as the modern workforce.

A day in the life

  • Collaborate directly with the CEO to prospect new enterprise customers
  • Own the development and design of Dots’ growth channels, tracking the relevant metrics to relentless iterate and improve these channels
  • Collaborate with our fantastic engineering team to improve messaging across documentation, demos, tutorials, etc
  • Own the experimentation process for new growth channels and partnerships
  • Engage directly with existing and potential customers to better understand their evolving needs.
  • Engage with our Customer Advisory Board of leadership at large and exciting startups to collect their feedback and drive rapid feedback cycles to iterate on product quickly

Useful skills

  • 1 - 3 years experience in a marketing, product marketing, developer relations or growth role
  • Ability to transform technical documents into different forms of engaging content. Whether its our next ProductHunt launch, a blog post, or a Loom video, we want you to be excited to creatively talk about our products!
  • Be incredibly excited to hear no from potential customers! We want you to dive deeply into customer’s needs, and get to their core needs quickly.
  • Creative thinking. We like to think on our feet and break rules tactically.
  • Resilient entrepreneurial mindset with a good understanding of how to move quickly.
  • You enjoy diving into data to measure what’s working!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • You’ve worked in FinTech, or other API / B2B businesses prior
  • You have previously written content for a B2B business.
  • You’re familiar with REST APIs, as well as a little experience in React.
  • If you have a deep Rolodex of potential Dots’ customers!
