We are one the most popular time series databases according to the independent reviewer DBEngines, but are reaching for the stars. Your role will consist of orchestrating, monitoring and executing strategies that will impact the growth of our open source communities, drive traffic to our website, and social platforms (YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, etc.), and ultimately increase awareness.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about Open Source, and driven to spark continuous awareness of a deep-technology product. We recognise the value of an open, creative, and collaborative individual who is excited about interacting with developer communities on a daily basis.
This is an open-ended role with a substantial degree of autonomy. You will own the end-to-end development of QuestDB’s growth strategy to increase adoption. In addition to planning and participating in any other initiative to grow the awareness and presence of QuestDB in open source and other tech communities.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrating, monitoring, and executing growth strategies (paid & organic) for online and offline campaigns.
- Owning content pipeline, by planning, prioritising, creating, and distributing content to grab developers’ attention.
- Managing QuestDB’s online presence on our website, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Youtube and other channels.
- Identifying growth metrics, and owning subsequent next steps: A/B test, build dashboards, track metrics, report insights, etc.
-Overseeing content strategy, based on new trends on Reddit and/or Github to assure organic growth.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in growth hacking, technical marketing, software engineering, developer relations, community management, and/or technical product marketing.
- Proven hands-on experience owning growth strategies from start to finish for B2B SaaS companies.
- Experience managing, and distributing content on Social Media, websites, newsletters, etc.
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player who is open to guiding colleagues on your areas of expertise
- Familiarity working with time series databases and proficiency in at least one common programming language are a plus
