The Opportunity
PicnicHealth is in an exciting phase of growth and there is no shortage of opportunities for innovation and experimentation. The growth engineer will be the technical partner for our Growth team and help turn ideas into rapidly validated experiments. You will have the opportunity to reshape how we engage patients and educate them on the value of research participation.
You’re the ideal candidate if you were a former founder or first growth hire, utilize code as a means to an end, and are constantly thinking of ways to iterate and experiment. Our mission is to improve patient lives through research participation and your role will be working on ways to build awareness and increase patient acquisition. In close collaboration with our Head of Growth and Product Team, you'll identify key growth opportunities and swiftly execute experimental strategies to maximize your influence.
Relevant Technologies: React, Typescript, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, dbt
As the Growth Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and implementing growth experiments with a strong emphasis on speed and results.
- Building dashboards, DBT models, and similar tools to visualize and distill top of funnel data.
- Working within our existing tech stack to implement funnel optimizations and create prototypes.
- Collaborating with the Growth team to support brand marketing through data attribution modeling.
- Contributing to building a world-class Growth team, by helping attract, interview, and onboard your future
team members during this exciting time of growth.
You are a great fit if you have:
- Been the founder or first growth engineer at a rapidly scaling startup.
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical role, with a focus on growth engineering.
- Demonstrable experience with React, Javascript and other frontend technologies.
- A solid understanding of data, including how to interpret it, and use it to drive decision-making.
- A strong history of driving acquisition and user advocacy via referrals.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience building SEO engines that leverage native content and product generated data.
- Used React to build consumer-facing applications.
- Experience in the consumer health space.
- Already found seven ways we won’t believe to optimize our onboarding funnel!
