About ContainIQ:
At ContainIQ, we deliver Kubernetes native monitoring and tracing with a one-line install. We are building for the next generation of technology businesses that are using Kubernetes to scale their infrastructure.
Our customers get a comprehensive monitoring suite with pre-built dashboards and easy-to-set monitors in just 5 minutes. By using a new technology eBPF, we are able to deliver features in minutes that would otherwise take weeks of setup and ongoing maintenance.
We launched publicly in July 2021 after working on our software for nine months. We raised our seed round of funding in August 2021.
Our Team:
ContainIQ was founded by Nate Matherson and Matt Lenhard, CEO and CTO respectively. Nate and Matt are second-time founders together having previously built and sold their last company. Today, we are a team of three looking to grow our team in the coming months.
We are backed by a leading group of investors including Y Combinator and a number of other incredible investors which we are announcing soon.
The Opportunity:
You have the opportunity to join a fast-growing startup that is looking to disrupt the Kubernetes monitoring space. We are looking for individuals who are ready to join a small and fast-moving team. In this role, your work will directly impact the customers we serve. You will have the opportunity to take on big projects, shape our product roadmap, and serve leading technology companies.
You can work in our office in Hoboken, NJ (right outside NYC), or work remotely from home, or from a co-working space that you choose. We offer excellent compensation and a selection of benefits.
You Will:

Work directly on our Go-based agent that interfaces with the Kubernetes Go-client API.

Improve and maintain a scalable e2e testing platform to help catch difficult race conditions and hard to detect bugs before they reach production.

Make impactful decisions regarding system design, scalability, and maintainability of all of our agents and internal infrastructure.
Requirements:

3-5 years building and maintaining Go-based applications

Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Kubernetes-based workflows.

Experience making system design decisions, building services, and infrastructure with scalability in mind.
