The Global Launch Program Specialist is responsible for driving cross-functional efforts to introduce new capabilities, products, and services to the market, lead customer-centric launches, and develop and track KPIs. This role is part of the team responsible for optimizing AVEVA’s go-to-market process by implementing best-in-class practices and standards and facilitating multi-functional collaboration during the release readiness and product launch process across strategy, execution, and growth.
The Global Launch Program Specialist is a global role that reports into the Senior Manager, Global Launch Program and will work closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, Business Units, Global Marketing, R&D, Operations, Product Support, Services, and Sales to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new and updated products, offers and services.
The ideal candidate is motivated to proactively collaborate with teams and leaders across the company to identify areas for improvement and drive change. You will have strong business acumen, experience in program management, a passion for driving continuous improvement in AVEVA’s go-to-market and product launch processes, and the ability to nurture collaboration and accountability across cross-functional teams. The Global Launch Program Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality, on-time launches.
Responsibilities
- Drive dynamic discussions with the product, marketing, sales, and business teams to define AVEVA’s launch roadmap and ensure that the individual launches are aligned and part of an integrated AVEVA’s go-to-market customer-centric strategy. Help develop comprehensive launch plans in alignment with overarching objectives such as expanding share of wallet, migration, or new market entry.
- Together with team members, develop and implement best practices across the product lifecycle and drive process and template enablement across the organization. Champion the process improvements with both the core team and upper management to ensure the process is aligned with business requirements.
- Manage release readiness and launch planning for new offerings including driving accountability for deliverables and timelines. Lead and influence cross-functional teams in a global environment to ensure business readiness, customer-facing team enablement and training, and internal and external communication.
- Manage the global product launch process, including inputs, timelines, and key deliverables from cross-functional partners, managing multiple launches at the same time. Understand the scope, operational requirements, and impacts of all cross-functional teams for each launch.
- Manage product launch information, inclusive of launch calendar, process guidelines, templates, individual launches documentation, and tracking tools. Ensure that product release roadmap and launch to market information are consistent and up-to-date, and easily available for the required stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in sales enablement, content governance, and adoption, by analyzing data and recommending improvement opportunities to the portfolio and industry marketing team.
- Create and track success metrics for global launches and ensure visibility and awareness of metrics across key stakeholders.
- Manage product naming approval process and enablement.
- Manage product retirement process for products at the end of life.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Project Management experience and/or certification
- Go-to-market and launch program management experience highly desirable
- Domain experience in industrial manufacturing or industrial software preferred
- Proactive work and ability to take ownership, highly driven self-starter and motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and process oriented
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Agility to adapt well to new technologies and processes
- Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. This role requires you to effectively work in a matrix organization in coordinating people and resources from multiple areas of the company
