Full-time or Part-time Writers

Alpha Vantage is a Y-Combinator backed software company that is building the definitive platform for the next generation of financial market participants. Our APIs are used by a global base of developers and investors in both the private and public sectors.

We are looking for a writer with an appetite for business, finance (markets), and technology to create short-form and long-form content that is both interesting, timely, and relevant to our weekly newsletter's subscriber base.

If you are a self-starter who is constantly curious, has very strong writing skills, and a track record of producing high-quality content, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

❚ Write in-depth, high-quality news stories across business, finance, and technology on a weekly basis

❚ Build, develop, and maintain a network of relevant industry sources

❚ Be a team player and collaborate with other team members as necessary

❚ Strategize and help execute our coverage of business, finance, and technology

❚ Uphold a high standard of journalistic integrity

Minimum Qualifications:

❚ Very strong writing skills

❚ Active relationships with members of the finance, tech, and crypto community

❚ Comfortable conducting interviews for stories and building connections with industry insiders

❚ Able to meet deadlines and work under time pressure

❚ Thrive under conditions of ambiguity and work well in an unstructured environment

Nice-to-have (not mandatory) Qualifications:

❚ Bachelor's degree in Journalism or equivalent

❚ Prior experience covering business, finance, or technology at a respected media publication
