Full-Stack Web Engineer (React)

Promoted is hiring a senior full-stack and web engineer to build our reporting and manager systems. These systems interface with our data warehouse, data visualization and BI systems like Looker, and our search and ads delivery systems to report marketplace metrics, create A/B experiments and manage internal systems. The ideal candidate loves building internal tools end-to-end using React and the appropriate web services for the job. You will also directly interact with our marketplace customer engineering teams and, in some cases, sellers on these marketplaces who use your interfaces to manage their listings.

Promoted optimizes marketplace search and promotes the best listings at the top to increase revenue. For example, on Airbnb, we would decide what listings you see in Airbnb search. We match millions of buyers and sellers for our customers, who are all Top 100 A16Z Marketplaces: Snackpass (#68), Hipcamp (#40), Outschool (#10), and Teachers Pay Teachers (#8). Our investors include Y Combinator and Y Combinator Continuity. We’re all ex-Facebook and Google ads engineers, and we’ve built this before together.
