We're seeking experienced developers to help build out the PlateJoy chronic disease interventions. Our codebase is robust, built in Ruby on Rails 5.1 and React 16, with an extensive RSpec suite. We work with PHI (protected health information), so everything we do is HIPAA compliant, but we leverage the modern SaaS ecosystem (e.g. Datica) to keep ourselves as nimble as possible.
We're a small but growing, close-knit team. We work hard but laugh a lot. Humility and willingness to learn are key.
This position requires someone who can jump in and begin contributing to a complex Rails & React app, so we need someone with depth of experience who can also work remotely, in collaboration with our CTO, Daniel, with at least one week per month in our San Francisco office.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years’ experience as a Rails developer
- At least 2 years' experience working in React
- Traveling 1 week/month in our San Francisco office
