👨💻 About You
- You're an optimistic, senior engineer, ideally with at least 5 years' experience
- You have great communication skills (B2+ English strongly preferred)
- You have your own Macbook
- You're excited to work with teammates from around the world, with a focus on US-based teams (8-11h ahead of Moscow time)
- You're excited to take long term responsibility over early stage products, collaborating closely with founders and senior leadership at world-class startups
- You have in-depth experience maintaining either Node and React projects (ideally both)
- You're flexible on assignments: we try to find long term projects (6+ months) but sometimes may have to do shorter term work
💡 How it Works
- After an initial phone screen and review of your code, we'll arrive at terms for a trial period together
- We'll search the Silicon Valley and YC community for startups looking for your talent, and match you with a good team and good project - we are very selective of what companies we work with.
- NUMI will pay you monthly on time - you never have to worry about chasing payment
- We aim to match you on one project at a time. Occasionally you may be working part time on two projects, but not often
- In between projects, you'll work with us on our core product. It's very approachable with lots of interesting engineering problems to solve, especially in scaling cloud infrastructure and cross-platform React/React Native and Typescript

- Building high scale log streaming infrastructure in Typescript to consolidate millions of bank transactions across tens of thousands accounts in real time
- Re-architecting backend services from EC2 to Kubernetes and Node to Nest at the same time
- Building a code editor plugin that allows engineers to collaborate on pull requests and code reviews, that works across all major editors
- Migrating a Python GraphQL server to Node, written in Typescript, running on Serverless
