Responsibilities
- Rapidly design, implement, and release new features to acquire customers.
- Work directly with the CEO, product managers, and early customers to refine feature design and functionality.
- Leverage existing open source technologies and low-cost SaaS solutions to quickly test new ideas with real customers and iterate based on their feedback.
- Learn and apply new technologies and frameworks regularly.
Required Skills/Characteristics
- You are a self-starter, capable of self-direction, and highly motivated to consistently release high quality features into production.
- You have experience building scalable RESTful web applications with MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js, AWS, and/or other JavaScript technologies.
- You are comfortable with end-to-end full-stack software development (front-end, middleware, backend, and cloud infrastructure).
- Experience with DevOps, OCR, machine learning, database optimization, and performance tuning will set you apart from other candidates.
- You have a passion for making features that meet real business needs and are easy and intuitive to use.
- You’re a fast learner, can contribute from day one, and can bring good opinions to the table.
- You have a strong command of written English, can communicate clearly, and are willing to work during US business hours.
