Full Stack Software Engineer

Treasury Prime builds APIs that give developers a direct connection to the banking system, making it easy to embed a full range of banking services, from bank accounts, to custom debit cards, payments, and more, into their applications.

We're replacing the decades-old mainframe software that has hamstrung banks and made it difficult or impossible for fintech developers to build great products. Treasury Prime is the best way for banks to modernize their software stack and for fintech developers to find the best bank partner and get to market fast. Currently we are using Clojure, React/Angular on the front end, Postgres database, and hosted on AWS. We understand that many technologies are translatable, more importantly, we want passionate developers with a zest for knowledge and innovation!

We're looking for full stack software engineers who can play a critical role in the development of our APIs and at every level of our software stack, from the most legacy bank mainframe all the way up to a modern web UI. You'll be an all-purpose engineer, ready to jump in and solve the highest impact problems, regardless of the technical requirements.

We're a small company of ~40 people, growing very quickly. This is a great opportunity to join as an early employee, take ownership of key product areas, and be part of the team that scales a startup from its early stages through the steep part of the growth curve.

You will:

• Design, build, and maintain APIs, bank backends, and web UI frontends; whatever it takes to get the product built
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
• Work collaboratively across the company to launch new features
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes  

You may be a good fit for this role if you:

• Have 3+ years of experience shipping high-quality products

• Enjoy and have experience building full stack applications

• Think systematically and write high-quality code; we care much more about engineering excellence than knowledge of a particular technology

• Be able to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively
