About Secured
Secured is a subscription service that helps you purchase sneakers before they sell out.
Members pay $30 per month for access to our community and tools like sneaker bots, early links and raffles all in one place. We started as a Discord community and we're now in the process of migrating our key features to our own platform that will help us build a much better product long term.
We've got incredible traction with revenue growing > 50% per month and are expanding into other alternative asset classes like sports cards next before raising additional funding by the end of 2021.
We graduated from Y Combinator in 2018 and announced our $7.5M Series A round of funding in 2019 from leading names in venture capital including Kleiner Perkins, e.ventures and Y Combinator.

The Role
You'll be working incredibly closely with our CEO, CTO and Senior Product Designer on both front and backend projects related to architecture, growth and internal tools - all of which will ultimately help our community purchase sneakers before they sell out.
You will get to own and influence huge parts of our system from community messaging and voice features to custom site monitors and sneaker bots. All these challenges will be tackled by our small yet incredibly talented agile team that cares deeply about the user. As you and Secured grow, you'll be able to take future leadership roles and define large aspects of our technology and culture.
We are a default remote team with most team members currently based in and around London. You'll work where you're happiest and most productive and we expect the utmost professionalism and dedication towards our goal as a team.
Plus we're are working with great technologies: TypeScript, React, GraphQL, SQL, Redis, ElasticSearch and more.

Requirements
- Startup experience
- Strong experience with the following backend technologies and frameworks: Typescript / NodeJS, GraphQL, NestJS, AWS Lambda
- Good knowledge and experience of frontend technologies across web and especially React and GraphQL
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL / MongoDB)
- Mobile development experience would be a plus (Native / React Native)
- CS degree or relevant work experience
- Ability to work in areas outside of your usual comfort zone
Preferred
- Have a real passion for user experience
- Interested in collectibles (sneakers/baseball cards/NFTs etc!)
