WHY YOU SHOULD BE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

Glocally is currently on an exciting growth journey and we are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our product team in Munich. Your responsibility is to develop and maintain frontend code and connected interfaces around the underlying backend infrastructure. With a great product-mindset, you will focus on designing and implementing intuitive and clean interfaces as well as writing code that runs on the backend too. Working closely within a fast and complementary engineering team, you will help to develop and ship new features and continuous improvements to the tracking product and its internal systems.

What you will do

• Together with the rest of the product team you will be a part of defining our strategic direction and shaping the future of zero-emission delivery
• Build new features that impact our merchants, shoppers, and drivers within external and internal contexts
• Solve complex problems with a pragmatic mindset in order to make products more accessible, more efficient and simply more fun
• Proactively talk to designers, engineers, customers and operations managers in order to understand their problems and come up with requirements for your solution
• Build a culture around design excellence together with the engineering team
• Be a key contributor to our mission to simplify everyday lives and revolutionize e-commerce with a world-class delivery experience.

You are excited about the future of logistics and want to help decarbonize the ​logistics industry. Additionally, you have worked on complex software applications in cross-functional teams and are well-versed in the agile process. ​​​​​You have a curious mind and are passionate about code and the problems it solves. You pay great attention to detail and consider quality and a clean code mindset as fundamental. You care about providing a great end-user experience and always put the customer first. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and taking initiative. You can drive discussions and have strong communicative skills. ​You are eligible and willing to work in Munich, Germany.

Desired skills

• 2 years of professional experience in full-stack development (we love side-projects)
• Previous skills or interest in working with web applications that display complex logistics in an easy-to-understand manner
• Experience in building and maintaining production apps using JavaScript / React
• Critical thinker with a pragmatic approach to problems
• Experienced in working with an agile development methodology
• You have a technical and social understanding of the bridge between design and development, and how to create an internal culture that outputs seamless and beautiful user experiences.
