Full stack engineer - Million Marker

Million Marker is a YC startup from the S19 batch. We are building a service for people to measure their exposure to environmental chemicals. Our first product is a mail-in urine test for exposure to chemicals in everyday plastics -- BPA and phthalates. We are starting with 2 chemicals but we will quickly expand to other exposures. Our vision is to empower individuals with personalized information about environmental factors i.e. (the exposome) impacting their health while building the most comprehensive dataset on human exposure in the world.

We are looking for our first full-stack engineer to build out Million Marker's customer-facing web app and supporting backend infrastructure. You will be architecting and building the platform from the ground up (exciting)! We are looking for someone who is passionate about the work we are doing, cares about personal and public health and loves building cool stuff. Prior experience building HIPAA compliant, secure apps in the healthcare space is nice-to-have.

We are based out of Berkeley, CA but open to remote candidates. This role is starting out as a contractor but with strong potential to convert to a full-time hire quickly.
