ABOUT INVOPOP
Invopop is a platform that makes it easy for developers to convert sales into electronic invoices, anywhere in the world. For developers whose company operates in multiple countries, they only need to make one integration using an Open Source format (gobl.org), send documents to Invopop, and forget about all the complexities of local formats, PDFs, government APIs, forwarding to ERPs, or getting company data anywhere else it's needed.
Co-founded by Sam Lown (CTO & Co-founder Cabify) and Juan Moliner (BCG, Flash Ventures), based on problems faced by Cabify during their international expansion, Invopop is backed by some of the best funds in the world like Y Combinator (Airbnb, Stripe, Twitch…), Rebel Fund, Emerge, Target Global & GFC. Invopop HQ is based in Spain with plans to launch in the rest of LatAm and Europe.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Skills: Svelte, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Go (nice to have)
Salary range: 50-80k€ depending on experience + employee stock options
You'll be one of the earliest engineering hires with ownership over major features, forming the culture of the engineering team, and working closely with the founders.
Prior experience with Svelte is not a requirement if you've already worked with ReactJS or Vue.js, we hope however that you'll quickly find it as refreshing as we do for frontend development!
The HQ and role are based in Madrid. During these early and creative stages of the company we believe there are strong arguments for enabling high-bandwidth in-person communication; ideally, candidates would be willing to work in the office as often as possible. Given the nature of the company however, remote async communication will need to become the norm.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- Empathy for customers, including the desire to speak with clients and make product decisions.
- Strong ability to learn new technologies and be productive in unfamiliar domains.
