About the Team:
- The engineering platform team is a remote-first team building the web platforms, data infrastructure, and developer APIs that shape how people understand and handle billions of dollars of insurance risk

On the engineering team, you will:
- Build and ship UIs and components using React, Tailwind, and NextJS for our enterprise customer portal and institutional investor platform
- Build highly interactive and dynamic visualizations using d3.js and visx to help users explore insurance data in new ways
- Work closely with our designers in Figma to implement pixel perfect designs and UI components
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design APIs that power dynamic frontend features
- Directly influence and introduce new engineering standards, tooling, and processes that help the team scale
About you:
Successful candidates will have the following attributes:
- ~1+ years of experience as an engineer building dynamic frontends using modern web frameworks
- Experience with a few of the following (or similar): Typescript, React/Next.js, Node, Tailwind CSS, Git
- Enjoy the process and craft of designing and writing quality code
- Have experience building web applications with great user experience and attention to details
- Take pride and responsibility in delivering features or applications from end to end
- Give and receive meaningful and constructive feedback with your team
- Think holistically about systems and services and how the play a role in the bigger picture
- Thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Are flexible and open minded when it comes to evolving processes and requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration
