Overview
We are looking for a talented frontend software engineer to join our fast-growing, mental health startup. In this role you will help lead frontend development for our healthcare platform. You’ll work with the latest frontend technologies (React) that are deployed on the cloud using AWS.
We are primarily located in the US (ET time zone) and would prefer candidates who can provide 3-6 hours of overlap. We are open to both full- and part-time engagements, and expect the project to last at least 3-6 months with potential long term extensions. Our team members have worked for companies such as Amazon, Palantir, Citadel, Optiver, among others.

🎯 Must haves
• Several years of relevant work experience with in front-end design and development
• Expertise in CSS/HTML and preprocessors such as SASS or LESS
• Expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6, ES8, etc)
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, React Native, etc)
• Expertise in building responsive layouts
• Experience with modern browser technologies
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding on client side performance optimization techniques
• You are not afraid of ambiguity and understand that the goal for a startup is to find the product-market fit and to learn from mistakes as soon as possible instead of building perfect products
