Lending companies, insurers, governments, and marketplaces all suffer these huge losses. We want to change this by analysing customer applications to predict if a customer is fraudulent.

The Role

As a Frontend Engineer, you will work across our product suite to build user experiences and interfaces that allow our customers to automate their risk operations. You will have the opportunity to work on new features from initial idea to production, including the design, development, deployment, and iteration. You will work closely with customers and colleagues in a tight-knit team to create new ways to reduce fraud and automate manual tasks. 

Responsibilities

• Develop features and capabilities that solve customer pain points

• Collaborate with product, design and engineering to establish strategy and roadmaps

• Write well-designed, documented, and testable code

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

• Lead projects from start to finish, communicate often, and own outcomes

• Set high standards of product quality and performance

• Evangelise frontend engineering best practices

• Build and maintain re-usable frontend components that are consistent with our design systems

• Seek and evaluate user feedback

• Consider security implications in the design and implementation of your software

About You

• Have a strong sense of product design and intuition about customer needs

• Are thoughtful about code quality and software architecture

• Have professional experience as a Software Engineer

• Are familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript MVC frameworks (such as VueJS)

• Have experience with unit & integration testing

• Have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another relevant field
