The Role
We're looking to bring on an expert full-stack Javascript developer to assist in developing our platform/EMR. Our engineers are involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle from the initial idea through prototyping and shipping the final product. Our work always starts in the same place: does this improve the patient’s experience and/or level up a doctor’s ability to provide world class care? Next, we code - a lot. Finally, we continuously ship and iterate on products that have a direct impact on the health of people.
As a front end software engineer, you will have the mission critical task of building out an intuitive user experience for patients and doctors on our platform.
Requirements:
*Real product experience - have you shipped products used by hundreds of thousands or millions of users? Talk to us.
*You want to work on software that is changing the world and you're passionate (and obsessed) about creating intuitive, scalable products.
*Ability to work effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals - you may work closely with doctors and other non-technical folks to get things done. Collaboration is key.
*High degree of fluency in JavaScript - you are a strong coder and know how to write clean, effective code at scale (see the first two bullet points).
*React/Redux
*ES6, Webpack (or similar), Babel (or similar).
*Testing with Jest and Enzyme (or similar).
*Writing standards-compliant, accessible markup and styling using CSS preprocessors or css-in-js.
*Using, designing and building RESTful APIs.
Extra Credit:
*Experience with HIPAA, PCI, or other high security coding environments.
*Implementing dashboards, graphing data and showing stats/analytics in general.
*Designing and implementing APIs for web and mobile apps.
*Experience with at least one programming language other than Javascript.
*Experience with automatic building/deployment services like Jenkins, Fastlane etc.
*Experience delivering mobile applications to both Android Play Store and Apple Store.
*Integrating with different analytics/events-based engines like Segment, Google Analytics, KISSmetrics, etc.
*Contributing to Open Source.
