Job Description
We are looking for a top-level Front-end Engineer who is comfortable with both front and backend programming. A lot of what you do will be starting from scratch. You can expect a lot of autonomy; in return, we expect you to have a strong sense of ownership and desire to help shape the future direction of the company. You will have a chance to work directly with the core members of our high-performing team and will have the following responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, WordPress, Webflow, etc and back-end technologies such as PHP;

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and Product managers, to create scalable and efficient products tailored to the real estate industry;

Conduct thorough testing and debugging of both front-end and back-end components for general web development;

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in front-end, back-end, system designs, and proactively propose innovative solutions to improve our product offerings;

Work with senior management to optimize the operation of the Engineering Department.
Our requirements
We are looking for candidates who fulfill the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with an excellent academic record from top universities;
- At least 2 years of programming experience;
- Fluency in English;
- Commitment to working with Homebase either full-time or part-time (at least 20 hours per week) capacity;
- Proficiency with WordPress is a plus;
- Proficiency with modern front-end technologies (React, NextJS, Vue, or Angular);
- Proficiency with server-side languages such as Java, JavaScript is a plus;
- Strong understanding of server-side technologies and architectures is a plus;
- Familiarity with data modeling and database management systems is a plus.
