Surface Labs is an applied AI lab building the Lead Operations Center for B2B marketing teams. Surface unifies lead capture, qualification, and routing, follow-ups and long-term nurture — allowing marketers to spend 80% less time on manual ops work and more time finding creative ways to convert leads into revenue.
We're live in production with Surface AI agents processing 50K+ leads monthly, are backed by YC/ Garry Tan and Dharmesh Shah (co-founder of HubSpot), and just doubled our team size in the last 2 months across Engineering, Design, and GTM.
The Role
You'll work directly with the CEO to run outbound experiments and open doors at the right companies. High ownership, real GTM exposure, quota-carrying role.
You'll own:
- Prospecting into B2B SaaS and growth-stage companies
- Outbound across LinkedIn, email, and in-person (SF events + travel)
- Full pipeline: targeting → messaging → scheduling → follow-up
- Testing creative outreach strategies—not just running scripts
- CRM hygiene and monthly meeting quotas
Who You Are
- 0–2 years in sales, GTM, or customer-facing roles (or strong hustle background)
- Comfortable with outbound and rejection
- Sharp written and verbal communication
- Organized, metric-driven, moves fast
- Technical interest or experience preferred (scripts, automations, tools)
Bonus: Experience selling to marketers or using SaaS tools (HubSpot, Salesforce). Used tools like Clay and Sales Navigator.
Comp
- Base: $60K–$70K
- OTE: $90K–$100K (base + commission with accelerators)
- Equity: 0.05%–0.2% (4-year vest, 1-year cliff)
