Founding Sales Development Representative (Contract)
Dex is on a mission to help teams build stronger and more meaningful relationships. Over the last year, we’ve developed a new product, Rolodex that enables teams to unlock the potential of their shared networks, prevent crossed wires, and better manage key relationships. As we embark on our next chapter of growth, we are seeking an ambitious, versatile, and dynamic Founding Sales Development Representative to close our next few sales. Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced contract-based sales and growth professional who is proactive, strategic, and eager to explore and optimize growth initiatives and sales channels. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a flexible and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Sales Demos: Educate potential clients on Rolodex’s value proposition and effectively communicate how it solves their pain points.
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, outbound prospecting, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Experiment Across Growth Channels: Test and refine different outreach strategies, leveraging social media, content marketing, and partnerships.
- Customer Feedback Loop: Gather insights from prospects and customers to refine sales tactics and contribute to product improvements.

- Versatility: Comfortable adapting to and experimenting with various growth channels.
- Methodical & Analytical Mindset: Organized, data-driven, and systematic in exploring and optimizing growth opportunities.
Experience & Qualifications
- SaaS Sales Experience: Preferably in B2B markets, with a proven track record in sales, business development, or lead generation. Ideal candidates have sold to small consulting firms or VC firms.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate value propositions effectively in written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with CRM & Sales Tools: Experience using sales engagement tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms is a plus.
