What You'll Do:

As a full cycle Sales hire, you'll be instrumental in shaping our sales approach, focusing on a targeted, research-driven strategy. Your role involves deep engagement with potential clients, crafting highly personalized messages to resonate with specific personas. You'll serve not just as a salesperson but as an advisor, building meaningful relationships and establishing long-term partnerships based on a thorough understanding of our clients' needs and our competitive advantages.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed research to identify and qualify business opportunities, targeting specific companies and personas with tailored outreach strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and team to refine sales messaging, focusing on a consultative approach that positions you as an advisor rather than just a seller.
  • Engage in discovery calls to deeply understand customer needs, assess solution fit, and thoroughly qualify prospects before advancing the sales process.
  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of qualified prospects, coordinating with the CEO for seamless progression.
  • Play a key role in developing and refining our sales playbook, integrating insights from your experiences to build scalable, repeatable sales processes.
  • Regularly participate in training and team meetings to sharpen your sales acumen and deepen product knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, ideally in a tech or startup environment and directly selling to engineering or technical teams.
  • Proven ability to conduct detailed market research and personalize sales approaches effectively.
  • Rapid learner with adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Team player, eager to collaborate in a small team setting and contribute to collective success.
  • Self-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales engagement platforms, with an openness to mastering new tools.
