» About Untether Labs:
Untether Labs is a workforce management platform meant for managing large health systems and digital mental health clinics. Our scheduling platform’s AI-powered scheduling tools ensure that doctors and nurses are scheduled in ways that empower them - optimizing the number of patients they see and their own personal satisfaction with their work.
We’ve rolled out with a handful of large contracts already (totaling ~1000 providers scheduled using our tools), and we’re looking to expand our team in order to tackle our biggest contract and challenge yet - replacing an existing $22 billion dollar software company from scratch!
» About our team:
Our team is a group of five engineers, embodying a 'small but mighty' spirit! We are defined by our kindness, autonomy, bias for action, and supportive accountability. We're a team that's determined to win by supporting healthcare providers to give the best care possible. More about us here: https://untetherlabs.com/about
WHAT YOU'LL DO
» Responsibilities:
We have an ambitious goal for the next 6-12 months (and the many years to come) - replace existing multi-billion dollar WFM software to enable better healthcare outcomes and margins for hospitals. It’s an ambitious goal, and we’ll need ambitious teammates to build out dozens of enterprise-grade features in the coming months. You’re a great fit for our team if:
- You love to work directly with users (every engineer meets with our customers multiple times a week)
- You crave autonomy and ownership (we all are building out entire feature-lines independently, although we love chatting and working together when we can)
- You’re incredibly fast and tactical (there’s a lot to build so velocity is key - the best product teams ship fast and frequently)
- You know how to build software that will last (our new product lines quickly go from 0 users → 1000’s of users in months, so being prepared to scale is critical)
- You’ve done this before (we love former founders + early stage founding engineers! All great talent is welcome of course)
WHO YOU ARE

- Work great with a collaborative team, and help grow our culture and skills over time
