Zoltar is building a payment integration platform for companies to customize their payment stack in a few clicks. With Zoltar, merchants and developers have all the underlying infrastructure they need to build the best purchasing experience for their customers. Merchants and companies can scale their products to customers in every corner of the world with their most preferred payment method and never worry about allocating engineering resources for 3rd-party payment integrations anymore.
You’ll be working alongside the founding team of Zoltar and building a product from 0 to 1.
🔭 What we're looking for
We're looking for great, product-minded engineers to create the best possible developer experience for accepting payments online. You'll be creating next-generation payments infrastructure, integrating third-party connections, and creating enterprise-facing APIs.
Some of the responsibilities include the following,
- Designing and implementing highly secure, fault-tolerant APIs
- Creating our next-generation developer framework and workflows, allowing both enterprises and third-parties to integrate as seamlessly as possible
- Taking ownership of key technology decisions, building for scale and optimizing for output
- Help guide our overall strategy through design, prototyping, and customer discovery / research
- Developing deep payments expertise, always looking for ways to optimize our developer experience
- Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results.
- Conducting code reviews and continuously look at ways of improving our ways of working
- Creating detailed internal documentation for the projects you work on
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
👍 Qualifications
- 3+ year of Python or TypeScript or Golang experience
- Proven experience building high-performance, distributed systems
- Experience contributing to system design/architecture improvements
- Self-starter attitude and the ability to execute new ideas with autonomy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven record of shipping features on time and on budget

- Passion for the Payments industry and UI/UX
- Founded a company or built side projects
- Experience in startups
