Founding Engineer

• Build core infra & product (backend + frontend) to serve Suger customers
• Work closely with Sugar's customers on getting started, gathering feedback, and day-to-day operations.
• Full ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle, including identifying, designing, and building new features.

What you’ll need

• 5+ years hands-on experience with production programming in at least one of the following languages: Python, Go, Typescript, Java or C++.
• Experience with Terraform, Github CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, REST APIs, cloud computing patterns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and be collaborative.
• Experience with monitoring / observability systems, such as prometheus & grafana, is a great bonus, but not required.
• Relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area, we can work together in person.
