We are based in San Francisco and operate on a national scale. We are looking for great people who have a big vision for reimagining financial services to be more engaging and positive-sum.

We are hiring a founding engineer. In this role, you will be working directly with the founders to deliver on our ambitious roadmap. As an early member of the Apollo team, you’ll have a huge role in shaping the vision, product, and user experience. We’re looking for candidates who are owners, self motivated and ambitious, with experience shipping products quickly and iteratively.

What You'll Do:

• Build the app: Build a best-in-class native Swift mobile app to help make banking and investing more fun and more accessible to users.
• Build out the product: Implement designs, interfaces, and animations into our app; help make our app the most elegant, fun banking app out there; lead the iOS dev and work closely with our talented designers as we scale our product from MVP to full-fledged challenger bank.
• Optimize: Create robust, secure code that people will use to interact with their money and investments daily.
• Evolve: Learn quickly and jump-in on solving the challenges that arise as our startup continues to grow.

• Ownership: You will be the founding engineer, reporting directly to Josh, our cofounder and CTO. You will be a core team member who is expected to help build the company as a whole.

• Flexibility: Our HQ is in San Francisco and we would love to have everyone here. That being said, we’re flexible with location / hours and can create a situation that works for you.

What We're Looking For

• Passion: First and foremost, we’re looking for someone excited and passionate about our mission. It makes it a lot more fun to actually care about what you’re working on!
• Experience: A foundation of 2+ years of experience in Swift and iOS development in general; experience in building design centric, mobile first products; an attention for detail with regards to design and crafting user interfaces; knowledge of application architecture and design; experience building reactive applications that interact with live content
• Bonus: Experience with SwiftUI
• Grit & Detail-Oriented: A start-up is tough and we really care about what we’re doing. You'll be jumping into a brand new role in a fast moving team, perseverance and attention to detail are important.
