Apollo is a debit card that rewards users with stock. Every swipe earns guaranteed fractional shares and a chance to win big with a full share. We offer a modern banking and brokerage experience featuring rewards that increase in value.

We are based in San Francisco and operate on a national scale. We are looking for great people who have a big vision for reimagining financial services to be more engaging and positive-sum.

We are hiring a founding designer. In this role, you will be working directly with the founders to deliver on our ambitious roadmap. As an early member of the Apollo team, you’ll have a huge role in shaping the vision, product, and user experience. We’re looking for candidates who are owners, self motivated and ambitious, with experience shipping products quickly and iteratively.

What You'll Do:

• Design a best-in-class mobile app to help make banking and investing more fun and more accessible to users.
• Create a compelling rewards experience based around gamified stock rewards.
• Build an integrated brand identity across the app, card, web, marketing content & more.
• Learn quickly and jump-in on solving the challenges that arise as our startup continues to grow.

What You’ll Love

What We're Looking For

• Passion: First and foremost, we’re looking for someone excited and passionate about our mission. It makes it a lot more fun to actually care about what you’re working on!
• Experience: A foundation of 2+ years of experience in product design or an impressive portfolio of work. An ability to work cross functionally and own all areas of design across Apollo - product, mobile, web, marketing & more. Experience with Figma preferred.
• Bonus: Experience with fintech, gamification or consumer products
• Grit & Detail-Oriented: A start-up is tough and we really care about what we’re doing. You'll be jumping into a brand new role in a fast moving team, perseverance and attention to detail are important.
