Join us in shaping and scaling the future of enterprise document management. As a Founding Design Engineer, you will work on state-of-the-art AI technology, tackle challenging problems, and make a tangible impact on how businesses operate in the digital age.

Responsibilities

• Collaborative Frontend Product Development: Design and develop the user interface for our AI-powered document platform, focusing on elegant, functional, and responsive design that delights users.
• Integrate Design & Engineering Workflows: Work directly with product and other engineers to bring features to life, from prototyping through production.
• Create and Maintain Reusable UI Components: Develop and document reusable components that can scale across different parts of our product, providing consistent experiences across platforms.
• Work Closely with LLM Technology: Deeply integrate generative AI capabilities into the user experience, providing dynamic, intelligent interactions that streamline document generation.
• User-Centric Iteration: Collaborate with enterprise customers to understand their workflows and pain points, iterating on UI/UX solutions that help streamline document creation and editing workflows with real-time feedback.
• Backend Infrastructure: Have the opportunity to work on our backend micro-service infrastructure that powers everything from letter creation to sending, ensuring seamless and reliable performance.

What we're looking for in you

• You have a passion for user-centered design and the technical skills to bring designs to life.
• You have experience in designing and implementing complex frontend systems, ideally with deep knowledge of web performance, usability, and responsive design principles.
• You are fluent in one or more frontend technologies (preferably React, Next.js, Tailwind, or similar frameworks).
• You can prototype designs in Figma and build them in code—whether it’s an interactive mockup or a fully realized feature.
• You have a knack for combining aesthetic sensibility with engineering rigor, ensuring every interaction is polished and intuitive.
• You are highly collaborative and thrive in an environment where iteration is a key part of the process.
• You are relentlessly resourceful and ready to tackle new challenges as they arise.
