A product from engineers, for engineers, that connects software together.
We are looking for a founding engineer, very experienced in backend development, who wants to have a big impact on other developer’s lives: You will join a well funded, seed stage startup and get to work very closely together with the two founders on all aspects of the company.

Location
Remote in Europe & North America (East Coast).
What you'll do
- Build an open-source platform that lets developers build product integrations 10x faster
- Work on all parts of our systems, including backend, dev-ops, database, frontend and more
- Work closely with the founders to define the future of our product & company
- Participate in managing our popular open-source repository & community
- Engage & support both customers and contributors
- Lead engineering best practices & technology decisions
- Hire & manage a world-class engineering team as Nango grows
- Learn all the practices & skills to launch a dev-tool startup
We're looking for
- An extreme sense of ownership, challenging the status quo & raising the bar
- Effective collaboration in a fully-remote environment
- 5+ years of experience as a backend or backend engineer
- Strong knowledge of complex backend infrastructures at scale
- Passion for building developer tools
- Empathy for customers & a sense for Developer Experience
- Strong team spirit & ally mentality to strive in a small, fast-moving & close-knit team
- Very effective communication, particularly in writing (good English level required)
- Experience with React, Typescript and Node.js is a plus
- Prior experience in an early-stage or dev-tool startup is a plus
