The Opportunity
Akute Health is building a modern, automation-first EHR for the next generation of healthcare providers - starting with direct care practices, digital health companies, and med spas. We’ve found a strong product-market fit in SMB healthcare and are now ready to formalize our sales motion.
We’re hiring our first Account Executive to own deals end-to-end, help define how we sell, and work directly with the founding team to scale revenue thoughtfully without bloated enterprise sales theater.
The Role
As our first AE, you’ll be both a high-velocity closer and a builder. Most of your wins will be smaller, fast-moving deals ($2.5k–$5k ACV), with occasional larger opportunities ($25k–$50k ACV) that you’ll run collaboratively with leadership.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys shipping revenue early, learning ICP nuances quickly, and helping shape a sales engine from scratch.
What You’ll Do

Own the full sales cycle: Discovery, demo, pricing, negotiation, and close

Close high-volume SMB deals: Primarily solo practitioners and small teams in DPC and med spas

Pursue larger opportunities: Work alongside the founder on higher-ACV deals when they arise

Prospect intentionally: Supported by an SDR, but comfortable sourcing and developing your own pipeline

Build the playbook: Help define messaging, qualification, objections, and deal stages as we scale.

Run a clean pipeline: Keep HubSpot accurate, data-driven, and actionable
Compensation & Benefits

Base / OTE:
- $65k base / $130k OTE with uncapped commission
- Commission paid on new ARR closed

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally full-cycle

Comfort selling SMB: You enjoy faster deal cycles and higher volume

Early-stage mindset: You’re energized by ambiguity and building from zero

HealthTech exposure (nice to have): Clinics, providers, or digital health buyers
